Privacy policy
Updated on 20 October 2026.
Who is responsible for your data
VIVANTI EMPREENDIMENTOS TURISTICO LTDA, CNPJ 61.606.986/0001-32, which operates Chocolate Hotel, Loteamento Outeiro de Santo Antônio, s/n, Alto da Boa Vista, Itacaré, BA, CEP 45530-000, Brazil.
Requests and questions about personal data go to reservas@chocolate-hotel.com.
What the site receives when you write
The contact form asks for your name, e-mail and message, and takes a phone number and dates if you choose to give them. The text reaches the hotel’s e-mail through Resend, an e-mail delivery service, and is used to answer your request and arrange your stay.
If you write on WhatsApp or by e-mail, you are talking to the hotel directly, under the privacy rules of each service.
Booking
Online booking happens on the Omnibees booking system, at book.omnibees.com. Booking and payment details are collected there, under the Omnibees privacy policy, and the hotel receives what it needs to host you, including the details Brazilian law requires for the guest register.
Visit and advertising measurement
The site uses Google Analytics, from Google, to count visits and see which pages are read, and the Meta Pixel, an ad measurement code, to measure and show the hotel’s ads on Facebook and Instagram. Both tools store cookies and identifiers in your browser and receive the page address, the type of device, an approximate location from your IP address and clicks on book, WhatsApp and e-mail.
The hotel does not sell this data and does not use it for automated decisions about you. To opt out, block third-party cookies in your browser, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and adjust the ad preferences in your Meta account.
Outside Brazil
The site is hosted on Vercel, and Google, Meta and Resend process data on servers outside Brazil, mainly in the United States.
How long
Contact messages are kept while they serve your enquiry and your stay. Measurement data follows the retention period set in Google Analytics and Meta.
Your rights
Under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (Law 13,709/2018, article 18), you can ask the hotel to confirm whether it processes your data, and for access, correction, anonymisation, portability, deletion, a list of who it was shared with and the withdrawal of any consent you gave. Requests go to reservas@chocolate-hotel.com. If the answer does not settle it, you can complain to Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
