The day, up the hill and down it
The spa, the cocoa, the kitchen garden and the court are inside the gate. The river you see by boat. The rest of Itacaré is five minutes away by car.
Cocoa on the skin, smelling of roast
Cocoa goes in three ways: the roasted nib in the body scrub, the ground bean in the face mask, the cream on the feet. It smells of roast, not of chocolate.

The entrance runs through the cocoa grove
The entrance still runs through the cocoa trees of the old farm. From the gate to reception: stone, forest and a wall of pods before the view appears.
Inside the hotel, the shop sells fine chocolate from Cocoa Coast producers. Reception books a visit to a farm, with the cabruca, the fermentation and the sun drying.

Down the hill
Three places open to anyone staying: the kitchen garden with the henhouse, the sand court and the paths through the flowers.
-

The kitchen garden and the orchard
Part of what Nibs serves grows here, and what the kitchen discards goes back into the soil. Walk down, see what is coming in, and taste the cocoa fruit.
-

Court and yoga
A sand court and a garden for yoga, with the forest on one side and the sea line behind.
-

The paths
Stone paths link the arrival, the garden, the pool and the lookout, between the forest and the flowers.

Beyond the gate
The Contas river you see by boat. The rest of Itacaré is a few minutes away by car.
The river that carried the cocoa carries you to it
The farms once floated their harvest down this river to the village. The boat runs the other way: up the Contas river, through the mangrove, with the crabs and the herons, to the upper reaches, where cocoa grows on the banks. Arrange the outing at reception.
